A Metamaterial Broadwall Waveguide Slot Filtering Antenna for SAR Applications

摘要

A novel metamaterial waveguide slot antenna array with filtering performance is presented. The array is composed of longitudinal slots cut in the upper broadwall of a rectangular waveguide and a metamaterial surface instead of its bottom broadwall. The array shows a good performance in operating band and perfect filtering characteristics in interfering band. A 4-element array is simulated with perfect performances, verifying the design.
