摘要

Electro-magnetic brakes are gaining importance in aerospace vehicles for various critical applications. A new electro-magnetic brake is designed which is more efficient and reliable compared to conventional solenoid operated brake. The non-linear magnetic analysis is carried out on the brake and results are presented. The results are promising and this topology can be adapted for aerospace and other critical applications.
