In the digital economy, the necessity arises for new highly professional work force with digital skills and competence in the technology and communication field. The directions of increase of computer productivity in the context of economic sectors of the region, in particular adjustment and creation of new educational programs of skills training, formation of a complex system of independent assessment of qualification in the ICT sphere are defined. The mechanism of training senior staff in the conditions of digital transformation of economy, based on the formation of personal development pathways, the use of independent certification of competence and the establishment of integration links between universities, specialized secondary schools, major enterprises and public administration in the region, is defined.
