To get the uniform thickness of the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle is the purpose of the stretch blow molding (SBM) manufacture process. The result of the uniform thickness mostly relies on the temperature distribution on the surface of the perfume. For getting a better temperature distribution, we have done some experimental and theoretical research on the infrared system and the cooling system of the SBL machine CPSB-LSS12. In this article, we focus on the computation study for finding the best flow field in the heating box which is the major heating system of the CPSB-LSS12. The result shows that a set of specific inflow angles provide the best temperature distribution under the same operation circumstance of fans. Moreover, these specific angles of the strength of the two of the five infrared lamps decreased approximately 5% in magnitude while in practical testing. This could save more energy consumption for the manufactural process especially under the long-time operation condition.
