摘要

In this paper, the normalized electric field patterns of a quarter wavelength monopole antenna placed on the perfectly conducting flat screens has been obtained using the uniform theory of diffraction. MATLAB antenna tool box based on method of moments has been employed here to validate the results. The role of the width of the perfectly conducting flat plate on the elevation angle associated with maximum directivity has been discussed.
