摘要

Design of circular shaped patch antenna with double circle complementary split ring resonator is presented for RF energy harvesting at 2.4 GHz. In this paper, the patch antenna has been loaded by a cylindrical Dielectric Resonator and the proposed design is excited by a microstrip line feed. The proposed antenna gives appreciable gain of 5.14 dBi and directional radiation patterns at 2.4 GHz resonant frequency. This antenna is used for energy harvesting application in ISM band. For a half wave rectifier topology, the overall circuit of DRA loaded patch antenna gives a power conversion efficiency of 80%.
