Evaporator is widely used in chemical industry, food, pharmaceutical and environmental protection industries. In this paper, the process flow of the Evaporator is comprehensively analyzed. According to the characteristics of the controlled object, a complete control scheme for the outlet flow, liquid level, and temperature of the Evaporator is designed. Due to the large hysteresis in the temperature control of the Evaporator, the predictive control algorithm is used in this system. Finally, this paper takes the SMPT-1000 as the object, Siemens PCS7 as the control tool, and the control system configuration is designed by CFC and SFC, WinCC is used as the configuration software of the upper computer. The semi-physical simulation experiment shows that the designed process control system optimized by the predictive control algorithm is stable and has strong anti-interference ability. At the same time, the control requirements are realized, the feasibility of the control strategy and scheme designed in this paper is verified.
