Research and Application of Compensation Characteristics of DSTATCOM under Unbalanced Load

摘要

This paper introduces a Distribution Static Synchronous Compensator(DSTATCOM) used in three-phase three-wire system. Reactive harmonic detecting method of directly controlling source current is adopted. The fundamental principles of DSTATCOM of this controlling method are presented and the compensation features of unbalanced load is analyzed. The validity of this kind of DSTATCOM and compensation features of unbalanced load are proved by Matlab/Simulink.
