For the static var generator (SVG), the traditional PI feedforward decoupling control algorithm is not fully decoupled at active and reactive currents, the robustness of the system is poor and the PI parameter setting is difficult. The accurate linearization of state feedback is used to transform the mathematical model of the static var generator to achieve full decoupling of the active and reactive currents. Sliding mode variable structure controller is used to design the voltage outer loop and the current inner loop to enhance the system stability and reduce the complexity of parameter design. In order to improve the motion quality of the sliding mode, weaken the chattering, and enhance the stability of the current loop, the saturation function is used as the reaching law of sliding mode motion, and the integral sliding surface as the switching surface.
