Functions of a Web warehouse

This paper proposes a Web warehouse based approach to facilitatingnefficiency improvement, information sharing and service personalizationnfor the World Wide Web. We overview various functions of a Web warehousenby considering the following applications: (1) a Web warehouse as sharedninformation repository, and (2) a Web warehouse as large-scalenintelligent cache. We conclude that Web warehouses will play annimportant role in digital libraries and other online informationnservices
