High Performance Optical Films for LCDs

摘要

Polarizers and compensation films are the key components for Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs). Optical performance of the LCDs is strongly affected by the optical films such as polarizers and compensation films. The characteristics of polarizers and compensators, which determine the contrast ratio, view angle, and hue balance of the LCDs, need to be improved. Improvements of the LCDs optical performance have been made through enhancing the properties of polarizers by optimizing the dyeing and stretching conditions, and the optical compensation technologies.
