Nonlinear Pricing of Information Service Based on the Congestion of Net

Congestion is the key problem in the information service. This paper analyzes optimal nonlinear pricing of information service under incomplete information, and compares the results of nonlinear pricing with linear pricing in the service. The results show that nonlinear pricing can avoid the deficit in linear pricing situation and we get the optimal incentive-compatible condition to drive customer’s decision keep coherent with information service provider’s profit object. The administrate cost is also discussed in this paper.
