Color Image Processing on TA Print System

On TA (Thermo-Autochrome) digital photo print system a remarkable improvement of print quality has been made by applying CMS technique based on the current workflow of "Frontier" digital lab system. However the application of the CMS to TA printer had the thermal color contamination problem caused by the overlap of thermal energy range to form dye. We solved the problem by optimizing the CMS database and achieved high print quality equivalent to the conventional silver halide photograph. We have also improved automatic image quality correction technology for digital camera data by refining the algorithm and the data flow.
