摘要

The known potential of composite repairs led the Israeli Air Force (IAF) to the decision of implementing a bonded repair for a fatigue problem in the F-16 aircraft Fuselage upper skin (STA. 341.8). A 4mm thick Boron Epoxy co-cured patch was designed and manufactured. The repair concept was successfully tested both on the aircraft and by means of component tests.
