This paper presents the results of slat spary accelerated corrosion test to analyze the effect of strainrnlevel on corrosion of prestressing steel strands. Corrosion degree of corroded prestressing steelrnstrands was measured and mechanical performance of corroded prestressing steel strands wasrnobtained by tension test. The results show that the yielding strength and ultimate strength decreasernwith increasing corrosion degree and the decrease of elongation is more serious. It is found thernhigher the level of prestressing, the greater the corrosion degree. The strain influence coefficient ofrncorrosion degree is obtained. Strain level has no notable effect on mechanical performance ofrncorroded prestressing steel.
