摘要

Model experiments on the direct observation of three dimensional interface debonding behavior has been carried out using notched glass rod-reinforced PMMA model composite. The observation reveals that the interface partial debonding occurs ahead of notch tip and the debonding area increases with the increase of applied stress intensity factor. The partial debonding behavior is due to tensile force acting ahead of matrix crack lip.
