An approach to G.N.S.S. vulnerability through aircrew situation awareness offers an integrative technique for dealing with the ramifications and consequences of failure in terms of the pilot's own point of view, taking account of the complex and integral nature of the many factors that contribute to the pilot's thought processes and view of the world. The techniques and methods of situation awareness are now in widespread use, and are already employed extensively in aviation contexts. They have been shown to be valid for general use, and are applicable to G.N.S.S. vulnerability. This does not imply that the necessary work is easy. Indeed much of it would be difficult and complex. But it does offer a practical approach which looks feasible and is likely to be beneficial.
