摘要

The Murmansk region is one of the main producers of Cu, Ni, Co, Al, P, REE, Zr, Ti, Ta, Nb, Fc ores and other minerals in the Europe for 70 years. The mining companies extract about 100 mln. tons of ores and add to damps up to 250 mln. tons of waste annually. From a beginning a rational management and treatment of wastes was provided on a base of the Alexander Fersman' concept for "a wasteless complete ores utilization". The strategy was aimed on design a close industrial "trophic chain", similarly to the modern "Industrial Ecology" approach. The innovation set of technologies designed by the Kola Science Centre allows recently to involve tailing damps in re-exploitation as the technogenic deposits of valuable raw materials to produce fertilizers, tanning and cleaning agents, pigments, concretes, as well as provide a possibility to combine processing of natural products with electronic and metallurgical waste.
