A Future of Information Technologies (Vision 2015)

Information technology (IT) is being applied to all aspects of life. Information, as a result, has become a capital good. Furthermore, the IT sector itself is undergoing explosive growth. Indeed, we'll most likely find the future information technology quite multimedia oriented, quite intelligent, quite personal, quite human but interrelated. The purpose of this article is twofold. First, some evolution process will be discussed regarding the future of information services. Second, the related development scenario for the future terminal system and network will be examined. This article presents the technology development scenario to help us provide the new information services and construct a network for leading the transition to the new services.
