摘要

This paper describes the design, fabrication and characterization of planar microstrip antenna arrays for a 77 GHz near range radar sensor. A novel method, which is based on the commonly used transmission line model, is introduced for the synthesis of the series-fed microstrip array antenna. Simulations of the antenna structures were performed using software based on the Method of Moments. Different microstrip antenna arrays have been realized and characterized by measurements.
