Recycling dredged soil with light waste material formed light weight soil were popular research forrnseveral decades in the treatment technology. And the engineering properties of these materials were shown almostrnclearly. Actually, current knowledge on compressibility characteristics and long-term compression of these arernlimited. This study focus on geocomposite soil with crumb rubber (GSR) for recycling dredged soil, cement, andrncrumb rubber and bottom ash for assessment the term of long-term compression characteristics. Oedometerrnspecimens with various content of crumb rubber ranged from 0 to 100% at 50% intervals by the dried weight ofrndredged soil were prepared. Several series of one-dimensional consolidation tests were carried out. The effect ofrncrumb rubber with and without bottom ash was investigated. It is showed that the mixing of GSR is effective inrndeveloping the preconsolidation pressure, reducing the secondary compression index, and increasing the coefficientrnof consolidation of the dredged soil.
