While Vietnam has a great amount of construction experience in RC pile driving methods overrnmany years, it has no defined regulations for dynamic bearing capacity evaluation formulas in driving controlrnregulations for driven piles, making it difficult to appropriately assess driven pile driving control. This study aimedrnto carry out RC pile driving construction control in Hanoi in 2010 and verify the following two points in order tornperform appropriate dynamic bearing capacity evaluation of driven piles and carry out driving control. (1) Whetherrnor not high consistency can be confirmed with PDA test results after setup by considering the appropriate setuprneffect for the respective type of ground in the FHWA Gates formula, and (2) whether or not these bearing capacityrnevaluation methods can be used to avoid re-driving for which bearing capacity evaluation is less workable.
