摘要

A new permeation test system was developed in order to visualize the water permeation phenomena in rock by X-ray CT. The characteristic point of the developed system is that permeation tests under the high inlet pressure tests (up to 20 MPa) become possible using industrial X-ray CT scanner. In this study, one dimensional tracer tests were carried out, and the flow velocity and permeability of the rock were evaluated from the X-ray CT image data. The evaluated permeability was consistent with the result from transient pulse method, and the effectiveness of the developed system was verified.
