摘要

Based on the high-frequency ray-tracing methods, a deterministic propagation model for land mobile satellite communication systems is presented. The direct wave, reflections from the ground and building, and the diffraction from the building edges are included in the model. The results of computations at 1.625GHz show that the normalized signal level which is between -6dB and +6dB in the regions with direct wave and reflection decreases rapidly to less than -20dB in the regions without direct wave and reflection.
