Research on integration of Ad hoc and Cellular networks

摘要

To introduce ad hoc networks to civil environment, the integration of ad hoc and cellular is under heavy research. Several integration systems (MCN, MRAC, ODMA, Sphinx, MADF and iCAR) are analyzed in term of coverage, frequency efficiency, system capacity and inter-cell traffic. Integration networks can achieve a perfect tradeoff between cellular and ad hoc.
