In this study two wetland plants (Ravenna grass and Thalia dealbata) were pyrolysed at 300 ℃ and 500 ℃ for 2 and 4 h in muffle furnace for biochar production,respectively,and their physical and chemical properties were investigated.Results revealed that the ash content,pH,C,N,CEC,EC and P in biochars at 500 ℃ were higher than at 300 ℃,while the yield,O and H in biochars were opposite.The content of K,Mg and Na in all types of wetland plant biochars was also higher at 500 ℃ than at 300 ℃,but Mg content was not the case.However,no significant effect of pyrolysis time at both temperatures was observed in the physio-chemical properties of various biochars.
