摘要

This study estimated the interception amount of Thorny Bamboo by a series of field experiment.Although the interception amount cannot be measured directly,this study measured the amount of the inner rainfall,the throughfall,and the gross rainfall to estimate the interception amount by the water budget equation.Experimental outcomes show that thorny bamboo plantation can intercept more rainfall than other species mentioned in the previous studies,so as to storage more water in the watershed.This study also established the regression equations for the amount estimation of inner rainfall,throughfall and interception by a known gross rainfall amount.Experimental outcomes showed that the canopy of thorny bamboo plantation can intercept all of the raindrops when rainfall depth is smaller than 5 mm.However,the plenty of antecedent rainfall will reduce the interception amount and increase the throughfall amount.
