Investigation and experimentation into optimization of process parameters for improved rate of build in selective laser sintering

摘要

This paper looks at research that has been carried out to investigate the feasibility of increasing the speed of the SLS process by optimisation of the part and build parameters. The work was carried out on the DTM Sinterstation 2000. Experiments were designed, with reference to previous publications and the factors that may effect part quality and build speed. This paper also details the difficulties encountered.
