摘要

This paper proposes a new kind of pneumatic position controlling system which mainly consists of a miniature air compressor, an ON/OFF solenoid valve and a cylinder. The displacement and speed of the cylinder can be controlled by directly driving the miniature air compressor and the ON/OFF solenoid valve. The structure, operating principle and experimental characteristics of the developed compressor are described at first. Finally, the validity of this system is confirmed through experiments.
