In this paper, the performance of centrifugal oil pump pumping different viscous liquids and effects of the viscous Squids on the pump performance are being systematically investigated. Based on the performance test, summarizing the rale of pump characteristic curves varying with the viscosity of fluids, deriving the expressions of main performance curves and solution to BEP, calculating the conversion coefficient at different viscosity and shaft speed and comparing the test results with three famous conversion methods.
