The model of perfect bulk material presupposes that a particle consists of a combination of identifical unbreakable elements with binding energy that is also identical. The energy input can be described as a number of faces that can be disrupted. The distribution of particle size after initial particle breakdown can be calculated on the basis of combinatorial theory for the reduced model of a particle of a needle structure. The two-dimensional distribution that takes place after a flat particle breakdown presented as the superposition of two one-dimensional distributions allows the description of both the size and shape distribution. However, in the multi-dimensional case, the particle size distribution depends, to a great extent, on the method of distribution measuring.
