We propose a theoretical model of organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with affective commitment and normative commitment as the antecedents, civic virtue behavior as the mediators, conscientiousness behavior and altruism behavior as the consequence. Data were collected from 250 employees who worked at four manufactories located in Nantou County, Taiwan. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to analyze the relationship between the variables and to assess the fit of the overall model. The results showed that affective commitment was significantly positively related to civic virtue behavior and civic virtue behavior had a significant positive effect on both conscientiousness behavior and altruism behavior.
