摘要

The longshore sediment transport is studied both theoretically and experimentally. A way of modelling of the sediment-flow interaction is proposed, in which the flow is divided into three layers, namely bedload, contact load and outer layer. The luminescent tracer experiment was carried out at Ancao Peninsula (Portugal) under the MAST 3 research project INDIA in 1999. The model results were compared with the above data, as well as with the radio-tracer data collected previously at Lubiatowo (Poland).
