摘要

This paper considers the interaction between regular waves and a jet-like current in three dimensions. The waves are generated on still water and propagate to encounter the current at an arbitrary angle of incidence. A comparison is made between data obtained from an experimental programme and the predictions from a parallel modelling study. It is found that good agreement existed between theory and experiment, provided that the vertical structure of the current was taken into account.
