Eight air samples were collected in canisters during the TEXAQS 2000 study at the La Porte site between August 23, 2000 and September 12, 2000. The samples were used to conduct an intercomparison of 9 non-methane hydrocarbon (NMHC) measurement techniques. The samples were collected in identical, previously cleaned and evacuated, 15-liter Summa~(~R) canisters (Bioshperics Research) from the glass manifold at the La Porte site. During sample collection, concurrent measurements were made by 3 in-situ instruments, allowing for the elucidation of possible effects from the canisters on the air sample. Thirty-five NMHCs were chosen as a tractable subset for the intercomparison with all major compound classes, alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, and aromatics, represented. This paper presents data for a subset of these. This study was conducted in order to help estimate the uncertainty (quality) of the NMHC measurements obtained during the study.
