摘要

This paper presents a simple verification method to obtain the sphericity. At least five points are needed to determine the center of these two spheres. Thus, four combinations (models) of these five points on these two concentric spheres are described in this paper. These geometric models are used to find the control points on the two concentric spheres with minimum zone tolerance. Finally, an example is presented to compare the capability of the present approach with that of the least-squares method.
