The Analytic Expression of the Optimum Criterions in the Edge Filter Design

We present a class of generalized filters h_s(x)= ∑ from i=1 to s of e~[(λ_i|x|) ∑ from k=0 to N_i of a_k~(i)|x|~k. We first consider the physical characteristics of the parameter group {λ_i,α_k~(i): 1 ≤ i ≤ s,0 ≤ k ≤ N_i},from the standpoint of probability. Then we derive the explicit expressions of some optimum criterions given in the recent references. We show that some useful and crucial filters in the recent references is the special case of the new filters, in addition, the new filters are easy to be analyzed and numerically computed.
