Provisions in U. S. codes related to high-strength concrete

摘要

High-strength concrete often has properties that are different from those of the corresponding properties of normal-strength concrete. Building code provisions, originally developed with normal-strength concrete in mind, have had to be adjusted in recent years in recognition of the above fact. The process is still continuing. This paper surveys the code situation concerning high-strength concrete at the time of writing (mid-1997).
