Studies on Large-Eddy-Simulations (LES) are presented of turbulent wall bounded flow at Re_τ = 590 and Re_Θ = 670 either with and without adverse pressure gradient (AGP). The Simulations of the Kalter and Fernholz Case show the shortcomings of eddy viscosity subgrid scale models to predict pressure induced separation and reattachement.
