Cold-cathode Fluorescent Lamps for LCD Back-lighting

摘要

The paper describes developments of an appropriate cold-cathode type fluorescent lamp for LCD backlighting units. The developed lamp features its higher luminous efficacy with smaller tube diameter, thereby presenting lower power consumption as well as thinner structure of LCD backlighting units.
