A SPOOL CONTROL IN THE SMALL RANGE OF THE FLOW RATE OF A HYDRAULIC PROPORTIONAL VALVE (APPLICATION OF A DIGITAL OBSERVER)

This research deals with the improvement of a high speed proportional valve. To improve its weak points, a disturbance observer is designed and it is a digital one in order to be able to adapt to uncertain variables of a system. By using this observer, the displacement of a spool was controlled to the range of 0.5% of the prescribed value. (It is equal to 5 μm displacement. )
