Abstract: The relation of the measuring beat length of a fiber to the working wavelength and environment temperature is described in this paper. Analysis and experimental results show that there is a direct proportion between beat length and working wavelength in different fibers. The measurement results of the relation of beat length to the wavelength and environment temperature are given. !3
