Abstract: The automatic testing device for laser rangefinders is one means to check the operating condition and diagnose trouble in laser rangefinders. It is able to both check functions alone, diagnose trouble and be connected with an outer computer network. When no laser is emitted, it simulates laser ranging procedures. By microcomputer supervising, diagnosed trouble can be coded and directly displayed on the five-digit display with measured range data and range errors, or figures can be printed out by a printer. !1
