摘要

The issue of homogeneity in performance assessment ofproposed algorithms for information extraction isgenerally perceived also in the Earth Observation (EO)domain. Different authors propose different datasets totest their developed algorithms and to the reader it isfrequently difficult to assess which is better for his/herspecific application, given the wide variability in testsets that makes pure comparison of e.g. accuracy valuesless meaningful than one would desire. With our work,we gave a modest contribution to ease the problem bymaking it possible to automatically distribute a limitedset of possible “standard” open datasets, together withsome ground truth info, and automatically assessprocessing results provided by the users.
