摘要

Software plays an increasingly important role in modern safety critical systems. Although some work has been done to integrate software into the classical PRA framework, current Probability Risk Assessment (PRA) practice overwhelmingly neglects the contribution of software to the system risk. The focus of this paper is on the software representation in the dynamic PRA environment. The simulation-based dynamic PRA environment is introduced first. A detailed software representation methodology is then proposed. By way of illustration, the methodology is applied on an example application PACS. The results and conclusions have been summarized in the last section of the paper.
