摘要

Metal injection molding (MIM) for DIN1.4091 heat and wear resistant stainless steel has beeninvestigated, including the process steps of feedstock preparation, injection molding, debinding andsintering. The effects of sintering condition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of thesintered material have been investigated. The tensile strength and elongation of the sintered materialfrom room temperature to 800 ℃ were measured. The developed MIM process has been applied tofabricate the key parts of turbochargers successfully.
