Dislocation for the purposes of open pit coal mining of the 'Temnica' river on the new designed embankment

摘要

In this paper the stability and deformability aspects of the behavior of the designed embankment is analyzed. The main distinguish of the embankment is height of 13 m, soft subsoil and the "Temnica" river passing along the embankment middle in canal. The stability is analyzed using the Galena software, and deformations, stresses and settlement are analyzed by Plaxis. In the river canal for impermeability assurance geomembrane is used.
