Electromagnetic Model of Differential Substrate Integrated Waveguide

摘要

An oversized microstrip waveguide shorted by a fence of conducting pins is simulated semi-analytically using the transverse resonant method. A couple of differentially excited modes are calculated and compared with the first higher-order mode of a microstrip used for the same type of signaling. The results are interesting in high-speed electronics.
