摘要

The biomedical use of nanomaterials is being explored in many areas such as nanoimaging, drug delivery and cancer therapy. We focused on titanium dioxide which is a biologically inert and non-toxic material at least in the bulk form or at the microscale. The application of TiO_2 nanoparticles (NPs) in medicine is very promising mainly thanks to their antibacterial properties (1) but their use is limited because of their cytotoxicity and low stability under physiological conditions (2).
