HAP/TCP and MSC implantation renovates stable expression of bone mineralization regulating protein osteocalcin and proves the combined influence of MSC and osteopontin in bone regeneration still 5 months after implantation. The 'hidden' inflammation characterizes soft tissue around biomaterial implants still 5 months after the implantation, but is notably decreased together with cellular proliferation under the combined treatment of tissue with bioceramic and MSC implants.
